How to do a Half Up Poof

Volumus hair is a great look for this year. No one wants flat and lifeless hair. While you make think that a poof is complicated and may take hours to complete and make perfect, that is not true at all. A poof is so simple and can take as little as five minutes. One way to make sure that your volume stays all day is by securing it with bobby pins for a half up do.

Here is what you need:
  • A Teasing Comb
  • Hair Spray
  • Bobby Pins
Steps:
  1. Make sure hair is completely dry; styled either curly or straight.
  2. Take the top back section of hair and comb back.
  3. Hold top back section, approximately 1 to 2 inches, take your comb and put it an inch away from scalp, and then comb down towards your scalp.
  4. Keep repeating step 3, 3 to 5 times.
  5. Then hairspray the underneath side of the hair.
  6. Let the hairspray dry and then comb the top lightly, making a smooth surface.
  7. Take the top half section of your hair and pin it in the back with four to six bobby pins. Making sure it is not so tight that you lose volume.

Suave Keratin Infusions

I wanted to make my hair smoother and healthier; I kept seeing all of these commercials on the TV about this new Suave product called Suave Keratin infusions, it was really cheap and promised a great result so I  decided to do it. Unfortunately it did the exact opposite; it completely destroyed my hair. The bottom two and a half to three inches of my hair were completely fried. It was so bad that I could not even wear my hair down until I went to the stylist. The top of my hair looked normal and smooth while the bottom half of my hair was a complete frizz ball. When I went to my hair dresser to try to solve the problem she said that my hair had gotten all of the moisture completely sucked out of it. To try and help bring back moisture my hair, my stylist used a treatment called glossing where they deep condition your hair with a very vitamin nutrient product. This glossing treatment did help but did not fix my hair, I still had to cut a majority of my hair off for it to be even close to healthy. I would definitley not recommend using the Suave Keratin Infusions products, I have heard about stories even worse than mine. People hair has started falling out and leaving them with bald spots. So absolutely do not use this product.

French Braiding!

French braids are a great way to wear your hair; its great for working out and for just a simple everyday look. The best part about a french braid is you can make it super clean or you can make it into a sloppy messy look. The structure of it depends on how tightly you pull the hair while braiding. The tighter you pull the more clean cut the braid will look and the looser you make it the messier it will look.

Tools Needed:
A brush
Ponytail Holder
Comb

Steps:
1. Brush hair thoroughly.
2. Seperate a section of hair from the rest of hair at the point of head where you would like your braid to begin.
3. Seperate the section into three smaller sections.
4. Cross the rightmost section over the middle section.
5. Add some hair from the right side of the head to the rightmost section of hair.
6. Cross leftmost section of hair over the middle section.
7. Add hair from the left side of the head to the left section.
8. Repeat steps 4-7 until hair is completely braided.
9. At the end of the braid tightly wrap a ponytail holder into the braid.

How to Curl Your Hair with a Straightening Iron!!

Curing your hair is a great way to mix up your look from day to day, but curing your hair with a curling iron can be time consuming and ends up falling out before the day is over. An easy alternative to using a curling iron is to use a straightening iron. I know this may sound a little weird considering it is called a straightening iron but the results of curing your hair with a straightening iron are far better than with a curing iron. The straightening iron holds curls in your hair for a much longer time period, allowing you to have a great time without having to worry about what your hair is looking like.
Steps:
1.Take a one inch section of hair.
2. Place your straightening iron towards the root of your hair.
3. Clasps the iron together and rotate the iron as you pull down each piece of hair.
4. Repeat all over head, making sure each piece of hair is curled.
5. For looser curls twist the iron less, for tighter curls twist it more.

Quick and Easy Hairstyles for Spring

This spring messy bun up-do's are in. Even though theses styles seem like they would be challenging to accomplish, they are actually some of the easiest ways to style your hair. Buns are great for every occasion, everything from every day wear to special occasions.
Supplies:
Brush
Teasing comb
Bobby pins
Ponytail holder
Headband
Directions:
 1. Brush out all your hair, making sure there are no knots or tangles.
 2. Pull your hair straight back into a ponytail, making sure there is no separation where your part normally is.
 3. Secure the ponytail by wrapping it around three to four times.
 4. Now put your head band in towards the front of your head and take the teasing comb and loosen hair in front of headband and ponytail. This gives your hair some extra volume.
5. Take a one to two inch section of your ponytail and tease it toward the top towards the ponytail holder.
 6. Then flip the section up and over, creating a roll type look and secure it in place with one to two bobby pins. It is okay if not all of your hair is completely in the roll, pieces sticking out will give it a more messy look. But if you don’t like that you can always secure them down with bobby pins or hairspray.
7. Keep taking sections and repeating steps 5 and 6 until you have rolled all of your hair into a bun.
8. Make sure that all sections are secured tightly with bobby pins.
As you can see this look is really simple to execute and makes for an everyday great look.
